Could You be Superman or Superwoman?

Do you believe in superpowers?  Could you be superman or superwoman?

If your answer is no, then think again.  Whatever spiritual beliefs you may have, and whether or not those beliefs encourage belief in certain powers such as healing abilities, I can assure you that superpowers of a kind really do exist.  There is nothing esoteric about this, just the wonderful facts of nature.

For example, how about a normally quite frail and certainly not muscular person suddenly demonstrating enormous physical strength?  Is this possible?  Certainly!  Has it ever happened?  Many times!  Typically this is a mother lifting a car off her child.  Search the internet and you will find countless examples of this.  Some may not be completely verifiable, but there are enough that are for us to know for certain that this has happened in the past and will happen in the future.  There is even a scientific term for this superpower - "hysterical strength".  What seems to happen is a combination of a release of the hormone noradrenalin, to give a temporary additional power to the muscles, and a number of endocannabinoids and opiods to deaden any pain the person may feel when using that increased strength to the maximum.

As I have said, there are very many verified examples of people lifting cars to save a person's life.  But one example of hysterical strength which I found very inspiring was the case of Lydia Angiyou who managed to fight off an adult polar bear that was trying to kill her seven year old son and two of his friends.  She had no gun, or other weapon, just her hands, her determination, and her hysterical strength which saved the lives of her son and friends.  I am sure most of my readers have seen a polar bear in a zoo and know just how big and heavy it is and how lethal its massive clawed paws and teeth can be.  Imagine yourself standing alone in unarmed combat with a polar bear.  It doesn't bear thinking about, does it!  But that is exactly what Lydia did, using her superpower strength.  Lydia received the Medal of Bravery from the Governor General of Canada for her actions, so you can be sure this story is very true.

Superpowers are, of course, not simply limited to hysterical strength.  We all have many powers that could be described as superpowers.  Most of us simply don't know the powers we really have.  The power to heal - physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.  The power to turn evil into good.  The power to attract to us whatever it is we may need in order to achieve whatever it is we wish to achieve.

In Matthew 17:20 we are told "if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”  Personally I have never moved a mountain this way.  Nor have I ever heard of anyone who did.  Most Christians would probably say this was not meant literally.  But actually, I believe it was.  Just because there are no recorded instances of it happening that doesn't mean it never will.  I know many will disagree with me here, but that is my personal belief.

What I particularly like in this quote is that last sentence: "Nothing will be impossible for you.”  I believe this.  I know that superpowers exist because there is enough evidence out there to prove the case beyond any reasonable doubt.  I know that those powers generally appear when they are most needed.  And I believe the words of Jesus that if we have enough faith we can use superpowers to achieve marvellous results in our own lives and in the lives of those around us.

Healing

Do you believe in healing?  I don't mean the kind of healing you get from doctors.  Nor do I mean "alternative medicine" such as homeopathy for example.  I mean using the power of the mind to heal.

Let me slightly rephrase the question.  Do you believe you can heal?  Guess what - no matter how you answered that question, you are right!

Did you say "no, I cannot heal"?  Then you are absolutely right.  If you have that belief it would be very difficult for you to channel any healing power either to yourself or to others.  So you cannot heal.  Not because it is not possible for you to heal, but because you are conditioned by your beliefs.

Did you say "yes, I can heal"?  Then you are absolutely right.  If you have a strong belief in the power of healing, and believe it is possible for you to channel healing power, then you can do so.  Not because your mental or spiritual powers are better than the powers of those around you, but because you are conditioned by your beliefs.

We all have within us amazing abilities if we are prepared to acknowledge them.  Those abilities include healing powers.

The healing we can give, to ourselves and to others, is across a wide range of conditions.  This includes mental and physical ailments.  It includes minor and major illnesses.

Be careful, though, that you do not misuse this power.

What do I mean by misuse?

Firstly, I mean do not assume that if we have the power to heal we do not need medical science.  Some of you may be members of a religious group that believes its followers should not consult doctors and only pray in order to receive healing.  This is not my belief.  But if you are a member of such a group you do not need me to tell you about the power of healing anyway.  It is not my mission to change anyone's religious beliefs, so I will not be drawn on whether or not what such people believe is right.  But to the rest of my readers, I implore you to seek proper medical care when you are ill.  I am not encouraging you to replace medical science with the mental and spiritual power of healing.  Just to add mental and spiritual power to the efforts of medical professionals.

Secondly, do not raise false hopes.  Yes, miracles do happen.  There are cases of people with "incurable" illnesses being completely cured through healing power.  There are cases of people who have been given only days or weeks to live being treated effectively by healing power.  But there are no guarantees.  Please do not give false hope to such people or to their families.

As long as you do not fall into the trap of misusing your healing power, begin to recognize today that you personally do have this power if you wish to use it.  Look for ways to nurture it and use it to be better and stronger yourself and to help those around you.

Mental Fields

If you are like most people you probably believe your mind is in your brain.  But is that really the case?  Many people (myself NOT included) believe the mind is simply a result of electrical activity in the brain.  If this is the case, then it is logical to assume it is centred in and around the brain.  Notice, though, my inclusion of the word "around".  Think of it more like a magnetic field, which expands beyond the physical magnet itself - sometimes well beyond.  My own belief is that as the mind is not a physical state at all there is no reason why it should be limited to a particular physical location at all, although I accept that much of the time we will tend to focus our "mental field" around our brain, if only because this is what we are conditioned to do.

Once you accept even the limited expansion of "around the brain" rather than "in the brain" this opens up many interesting possibilities.

Consider telepathy.

This is an ability which is often scorned by those who have not studied it deeply.  They believe it is completely unscientific to propose an ability to read someone else's mind.  I agree we do not yet have scientific proof that this ability exists, and perhaps we never will.  But that is very different from suggesting it is not possible for it to exist.  If the mind is like a magnetic field, extending beyond the brain, then it is not at all illogical to imagine the intersection of two such mental fields allowing an exchange of information between the two minds.

Have you ever felt your skin crawl and then turned to see someone staring at you?  Or stared at a sleeping pet that immediately opens its eyes and stares back at you?  Could these incidents perhaps be explained by the intersection of the two mental fields?

Or how about telekinesis?

Again, if the mind is like a magnetic field and extends beyond your body, why should it not be possible for it to have the power to move objects just as a magnet can do.  And as we are talking here of a "mental field" rather than a "magnetic field" there is no reason why this ability should be limited to magnetisable objects.

Telekinesis is, of course, rather a trivial power.  The mind has much more relevant powers than a party trick like this.

The power to connect with Universal power for example.  Check out my earlier article on healing for one way in which this can be used.  But the power is not, of course, limited to healing.  The idea of linking with Universal power and using it to achieve goals you have set yourself or simply to become a better person is, in my view, perfectly sound, and the method (moving your mind out of your body to merge with the Light of the Universe) quite naturally falls in line with this "mental field" concept.

Astral travelling is another concept that makes a lot of sense once you can accept that your mental field is not limited to one narrow physical space.

Acknowledging your mind is not limited physically can be a real paradigm shift.  Open up your mind today and see where this takes you!

Healing Yourself

Is it possible to heal yourself by using your mind?

The answer to this is a definite yes.  But at the same time I should qualify the answer.

Firstly, healing with your mind should be an integral part of a holistic approach.  The approach should include an appropriate lifestyle, including eating healthily and exercising appropriately.  It should also include your medical team, assuming we are talking about a medical issue (you will see later that “healing” can be a much wider concept than simply dealing with medical problems).  “Medical team” may mean just your doctor, but for more complex situations it may also include a number of specialists.  Never assume that because you are taking a natural approach and also using the healing power of your mind you can afford to ignore proper medical advice.  You should also make sure your medical team are aware of the other strands within your holistic approach.

Secondly, not everyone will be able to heal every condition.  If you have, for example, been diagnosed with terminal cancer do not assume you will be able to confound your doctors by completely healing that cancer and going on to live to a ripe old age.  You may be able to do just that.  But do not be disappointed if you find you do not have the ability to do it.  Somewhere deep inside each of us is such an ability, but we can each only access it to a certain degree.

This seems like a very negative start, but it is important to clarify these two points before doing anything else.

Having dealt with the negatives, do not now let them cloud your thinking.  If you start with the assumption that you will not be able to heal yourself one thing is certain – you will be right!  Having made sure you are taking all the other appropriate steps, and having accepted that nothing in this universe is certain, take a very positive view.  Recognize that it is only when you have a positive view that you can work the miracles that the universe wants you to work.

Healing is not about “fighting illness”.  It is about recognizing the perfect being the Universe wants you to be and allowing that “real you” to shine through.  In some cases that will mean you are negating illnesses so that they disappear, but in other cases it may mean allowing negative attitudes and emotions to disappear, accepting improvements to your mental, emotional, spiritual and physical state etc.

There are many different ways of approaching the healing process.  The method I prefer is to focus on the Light that represents the Universe made manifest within you.  I begin by imagining my mind moving upwards, right up to the stars, and finding the true source of everything – which appears to me as a kind of ball of light.  I merge my mind with that ball of light and then bring it right back down so it is now centred in my body.  Now I sit quietly for a while, basking in the Light within me, the Light that is the power of the Universe.

When I am ready to move on I focus on the particular healing task I have chosen.  This must always be framed in a positive way, not a negative one.  Here, the approach used by Émile Coué is helpful.  For example, using the very generic “Every day, in every way, I am getting better and better.”

While you are doing this, feel the Light within you expanding.  First filling your whole body with light.  This alone will transform you and allow the Light to begin working its miracles.  Feel it flowing through all your blood vessels, penetrating every space in your body.  Feel a deep sense of gratitude to the Universe for the way this makes you feel and for the healing you are receiving.

Finish the exercise by feeling the Light expanding out beyond you.  Let it grow and grow until eventually it fills the whole Universe – which is the reality anyway, as that Light and the Universe are one.  Now you and the Universe are one.  Which means you have all the power of the Universe.  All that power to achieve just a very small healing.

Reiki- Holistic Healing

by

Nicole Lawler

Reiki is finally on the map of healing modalities!

In its simplest translation, Reiki is universal life energy. It is the life force energy that exists in all things. The practice of Reiki is the art and science of channeling this universal life energy in a particular pattern to heal and harmonize the mental and physical body. It works to heal the whole body, not just any one specific area. Stress, worry, and emotional upset are held in the mental and emotional bodies, blocking your energy source causing aches, pains, and disease to manifest in the physical body. Reiki or "energy work" can clear these blockages and allow life's energy force to freely flow, enhancing your own body's natural healing powers. Reiki treatment is to relieve stress and pain, induce relaxation, release emotional blockages, accelerate natural healing, balance subtle energy bodies' and support other medical modalities including traditional therapies. This is a brief synopsis of the meaning of Reiki.

After many decades of Reiki's validity being disputed and discounted, the holistic energy treatment is gaining an entirely new respect in the medical community. Initially, the very idea of the human body being surrounded by invisible life force energy was labeled absurd. The thought process is that if it is invisible, it cannot be measured by traditional research or scientific instrumentation. William Lee Rand, Founder of the International Center for Reiki Training is changing all of that. In 2005, he created a peer review method for analyzing the current state of scientific studies done on Reiki programs in hospitals, clinics, and hospice facilities throughout the United States, called the Touchstone Process.

William Lee Rand also developed the Reiki in Hospitals Website and list, which is one of the most comprehensive compilations of hospitals in the world now offering Reiki. There have never before been so many studies of Reiki in a single source.

There have been many controlled studies submitted to peer-journals and The Touchstone Process for review. All disorders that had favorable outcomes to Reiki treatments include:

pain in chronically ill patients, depression, stress, cognitive assessment in elderly, related to dementia/Alzheimers, pre-operative relaxation, post-operative pain, migraine relief. It was reported that 83% of the most controlled studies, showed moderate to strong evidence in support of Reiki as a viable, therapeutic healing modality. In a press release dated September 15th, 2008, The American Hospital Association President and CEO Rich Umbdenstock stated, "Complementary and alternative medicine has shown great promise in supporting and stimulating healing. It's one of the many tools hospitals look to as they continue to create optimal healing environments for the patients they serve."

In conclusion, as Reiki continues to be a huge asset for the hospitals, The Touchstone Process reports will continue to help people see that Reiki is an effective healing modality first hand. As a Reiki practitioner, I am very passionate about it because just seeing the client's sense of wellbeing and calm after the pain has dissipated is pretty amazing. It would be fantastic if all of our healthcare systems helped us by helping our bodies facilitate the healing process the way it's supposed to. Maybe it's time to get back to the basics.

About the Author:

My name is Nicole. I've lived and learned much in this lifetime. Having grown up in a home of dysfunction and mental abuse, it took me many years to learn to overcome such bitter imprints that were left in my little mind. This won't soon leave your existence without deep scarring.

Somehow, by the grace of God, I learned how family was supposed to be. I ended up adopting most of my childhood friends' parents and families. All of these families took me in with open arms and showed me how family is supposed to interact. What I found in these families was unconditional love and it saved my life. The most important lesson that I learned in my life growing up, is to love unconditionally, and to appreciate the small victories that happen daily in a world of such heartache!

I learned these lessons early and used all of my knowledge to create a loving family of my own. After marrying my soul-mate and best friend, we had a child. While my son Damian was growing up, not only did I try to mold him into his greatness, but we also adopted some of his friends into our family just like the way my friends families adopted me. We were blessed with many little ones that we could help find their way in life and learn love in this world. We all learned growing up, the joys of helping those who needed us. Although Dave and I only have one biological child, there are many children that I consider my own. We have truly lived and learned what it means to have such blessings and cherish each and every one of them.

In my later years, and with many health issues, I began to see a spiritual healer because the doctors in my life weren't helping me. It was through the Healing that I received that I learned that I am an Empath and have gifts of healing myself. Shortly after, I studied Reiki, and holistic medicine, and for quite a while now and I am following my passion. My calling in life has always been to help people. It just took me about 40 years to figure out how. Funny how things in life are drawn to you!

Alternative Healing Methods

by

Michelle Sigurdson

Is Alternative Healing For You?

Alternative healing methods thrive within the field of holistic healing. Depending on your needs, some holistic health approaches can be used as alternatives to mainstream medicine. A therapy that is used to replace traditional medicine is called "alternative healing."

Six Sensational Benefits of Alternative Healing

  • Some alternative health methods can be very gentle. Because of this, they can help manage extreme pain and be beneficial for patients in pre and post surgery.
  • Alternative therapies may transcend some of the limits of modern medicine.
  • Alternative treatments can bring new hope for healing stubborn ailments.
  • There are no side effects with many alternative natural healing methods.
  • With some healing approaches like energy healing, you may be able to feel some immediate benefits.
  • Some healing therapy can be done on the self. (And self healing can be learned.)

Four Popular Alternative Healing Methods:

Energy Healing: Reiki, Healing Touch, and Pranic Healing are all energy healing methods. The field of energy medicine is growing - healthfully! This alternative healing method works using the idea that we are we are ultimately made up of quantum energy. Your energy can be influenced by universal energy and other energetic biofields (or auras). The goal is to restore balance to your energy centers and strengthen them.

Body Work: massage therapy, the Rosen Method, and Craniosacral therapy fall into this category. Massage by itself can be deeply soothing, which can help the body heal. Also, one of the theories behind body work is that memory is stored in our muscle tissue and that it can be released and healed with body work. This can lead to emotional, mental and physical healing.

Chinese Medicine: can help with pain management, depression, stress and insomnia. Some of the main methods of treatment include: acupuncture, acupressure, herbal medicine, diet therapy, and qigong (a form of meditative exercise). Acupuncture works by having a doctor insert fine disposable needles at key meridians or energy points along your body. This may help dissolve energy blocks and help your body heal itself.

Ayurvedic Medicine: treats the whole person through a holistic assessment. In Ayurveda, your treatment is based on which "dosha" or body type you are. Once you have been assessed, purification and rebalancing of your specific dosha is recommended. Changes in diet, fitness and sleeping habits tailored to your particular body type may be recommended with this ancient East Indian medical practice.

The healing methods featured here may also be used as complementary therapies that work alongside mainstream medicine. (In this way they can also be called: "complementary" healing methods.)

Alternative and complementary healing methods may offer you hope where there wasn't hope before. Explore your options and listen to your divine body. Alternative healing methods can help you radiate your ultimate health.

Reiki Symbol Sei He Ki

by

Gogu Bobu

Reiki symbols are basically words from Japanese language that play an important role in Reiki practice. These symbols are used by advanced Reiki practitioners and can help in focusing or channeling the Reiki energies. The symbols can be activated either by visualizing them mentally, drawing the symbol with the palm of your hand, speaking the name of the symbol out loud, or simply invoking it in your mind. The three primary symbols used in traditional Reiki are Cho Ku Rei (power symbol), Sei He Ki (mental or emotional healing symbol) and Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen (distance healing symbol).

Meaning of Sei He Ki or the Reiki mental / emotional healing symbol

The name Sei He Ki means The earth and sky meet or God and Man become one.

This symbol acts on a person's conscious mind (the mental body) and subconscious mind (emotional body), and is used primarily for emotional and mental healing, clearing, purification, protection and balancing. Sometimes it's also called the Protection Symbol, because of the role it plays in providing protection.

Most of our ailments are caused by mental and emotional imbalance in our bodies. The use of the emotional healing symbol helps in bringing the problem to the surface and liberates emotional and mental issues that cause the problem. This symbol also aids in balancing the left and right side of the brain and promotes peace and harmony. It can be used to draw gentle and subtle energies required to ease the feelings of sorrow or suffering.

How to use the Reiki emotional / mental symbol

Different practitioners use this symbol in different ways. For example, the practitioner draws the Cho Ku Rei (the power symbol) to create a connection with the Reiki energy source. Sei He Ki is then drawn over the troubled area where the Reiki energies are required. The energies are sealed by drawing the power symbol or Cho Ku Rei again. This sustains the effect of Sei He Ki for a longer time.

Improve memory power

Sei He Ki is beneficial in improving your memory. Drawing this Reiki symbol on pages of your book, can help you memorize the content while reading or studying. Visualizing the symbol on top of your head can help you remember things that you might have forgotten; such as your keys, the name of a person, and an answer for the test, or just about anything else.

This works because of the connections this symbol makes in and between the two hemispheres of the brain.

Get rid of bad habits

The mental and emotional symbol aids in restoring emotional and psychological balance in a person's body and promotes deep healing. The use of this Reiki symbol helps in eliminating unwanted or bad habits such alcoholism, smoking cigarettes or overeating. Visualizing or drawing this Reiki symbol around you helps in changing your negative beliefs, negative parental or social conditioning and makes you a more positive person.

Improve relationships

Drawing Sei He Ki around your surroundings and the people involved in a troubled relationship can bring about the wisdom and strength to sort out problems amicably. Using this Reiki symbol will help bring relationship problems to the surface and make you tackle them successfully.

Empowers your affirmations

Affirmations are powerful tools that can play a vital role in helping you to achieve your goal successfully. The mental symbol works in the subconscious mind, repeating the name of this symbol mentally can help in empowerment of your affirmations and help you accomplish your goal. If you write down affirmations, draw the symbol on the paper as well.

Personal bodyguard

Drawing Sei He Ki around you helps protecting you from the negative vibrations and allowing only the positive energies to reach you. As mentioned, it is otherwise called the protection symbol, and can also be used as protective shield during purification ceremonies to help in removing negative energy from the physical body or from the aura.

In medical settings, this symbol tends to work as an "antiseptic ointment", when used before, during or after an operation or surgery.

Dissipates headaches

Sei He Ki is used to heal emotional issues that can cause physical problems too. By using this Reiki symbol, you can find a way to heal your headaches caused due any mental or emotional instability. It can be a good solution to help you cure your headaches naturally, without having to take any kind of medications (remember to drink a lot of water too, as many headaches are caused by dehydration).

Helps to find lost objects

Drawing the Reiki mental and emotional symbol in the front of you and asking for assistance to locate lost objects will help you either find the objects or give you ability to think and remember the location at which you kept it in the first place.

Harmony

This symbol teaches us about the synchronization or harmony of things in nature. It teaches subconsciously about the rhythmic cycle of nature, the need of adaptability towards changes and understanding the importance of non attachment. It helps making an individual gain more positive outlook of life and helping them stay happy throughout their life.

Healing Through the Law of Attraction

by

Alexander Lynch

Almost everyone faces health issues in their every day life, and they could stand to have a little help with them. Whether you deal with stress, anxiety or have low energy levels, there are ways to promote healing through the law of attraction.  This simple method utilizes your body's energy flow to direct your healing process to the areas that you need it most.  It doesn't require any special skills, instead it can be done by just about anyone with the right preparation.  Give this process a chance and you're bound to see results.

One of the first steps towards harnessing the power of healing through the law of attraction, will be to establish a meditative routine in your daily life.  Just set aside a short block of time towards meditation.  This may sound strange, but many have found that relaxing and concentrating your mental energy can be a highly effective method of promoting the healing process.

Most experts in meditation advise that you only do the process when you can devote all of your mental energy to this process.  Try to seclude yourself in a quiet room where you won't be interrupted by outside noise.  You might want to cancel out these distractions by playing some gentle and soothing music during your meditation routine.  This will allow you to focus on the issue at hand and maximize the rate at which you heal your body.

There are many signs that you're making progress with your meditative practices.  Some people may not be sure that they're doing things right, but here are a few key steps to keep in mind:
  •  Take deep, shallow breaths
  •  Close your eyes
  •  Relax your thoughts
  •  Focus your mental energy
  •  Use your imaginative powers to direct that energy

The key to healing through the law of attraction is that you're going to want to imagine yourself being healthy and capable of doing something you couldn't otherwise accomplish.  So if you suffer from arthritis and you'd like to be able to sew a pattern again, you would meditate and focus your mental energy on this task.  The law of attraction predicts that if you prepare your mind for this task, you will be provided with the health and energy necessary to perform the action in real life.

There have been many attempts to explain why this phenomenon occurs in real life.  Some people suspect that the Universe is naturally capable of directing energy resources to individuals who need it.  This energy may be called upon by exerting mental effort and imagining our bodies doing the action.  This comes naturally to athletes and others who are active, because they do it constantly throughout their lives.  But once we lose our health, we may also lose our confidence to focus our mental energy on these tasks.

Whatever the ultimate reason, the fact remains that it is possible to heal your body through the law of attraction.  It has been demonstrated many times over, and there are people everywhere who will swear by this methodology.

Considering how easy it can be to simply try the meditation stage out, there may be nothing to lose by giving it a shot.  If you find that it works for you, it may become gradually easier to harness the powerful capacity that the law of attraction holds.

Explaining the Unexplainable

Belinda Farrell is a Huna practitioner.
When Belinda was forty eight she collapsed with herniated discs and spinal nerve damage.  Threatened with paralysis by her medical doctors if she didn’t have surgery, Belinda instead chose to apply the ancient Hawaiian healing practices she had been learning for the past three years which are covered in this book.  Her back completely healed including childhood scoliosis.
Belinda retired from stunt car driving and, for fifteen years has been sharing these healing practices with others. She offers Reconnective Healing and Huna in Santa Cruz, Ca. and takes clients to Hawaii to teach Huna and swim with wild spinner dolphins.  The dolphins help us to dissolve fear with an open heart expanding our reality through their vibrational tones so that we experience our deepest joy.
In March she will be publishing a book called “Find Your Friggin’ Joy”.  In this book she will show her readers how to clean the “plaque” from their souls and reach the Higher Self.

Belinda has kindly allowed me to print an excerpt here from her book – Explaining the Unexplainable:

As a civilization we’re moving forward faster than ever before. If you don’t prepare yourself on the inside, you will likely be caught up in a whirlpool of fear and unresolved emotion. The news is filled with disasters in our outer world: earthquakes, floods, military uprisings, government breakdowns, corporations crumbling, real estate devaluation, oil spills, gas prices, water shortages and on and on. We are tenants living on Mother Earth temporarily. She will right the wrongs done to Her over time. How you handle what is happening in the world will reveal how SECURE you feel inside yourself. It is said that we are living in the DREAM we have made by our COLLECTIVE THOUGHTS. When we stop believing in the dream it will change its structure. When people stopped believing in Communism in East Berlin, the Berlin Wall fell. The majority of people now seem to be freeing themselves from conventional ideas that don’t work any longer. If it doesn’t feel good at the truth level, you need not participate. No one wants to be ruled by a dictator, and now the people are standing up and saying “no more.” As things change in our outside world, we begin to see how it is possible to change our inner world, especially if our ideas are somewhat outdated.

For example, take the way we’ve been conditioned to think about healing. The general consensus tells us to go to a doctor when we have an illness. But I’ll bet when we were young, the majority of you had your “boo-boo’s” kissed away by a well-meaning adult. We knew the boo-boo would heal by itself in just a few days. How many of us will know with conviction that we will be fine again when illness strikes.
As we grow older and develop more conscious skepticism, we lose touch with our connection to our UNCONSCIOUS MIND ... the part of us that RUNS OUR BODY. We already talked about how our unconscious mind serves as the computer to our conscious mind’s commands. So if you really want to communicate with the unconscious and change the negative patterns you’ve been accumulating, then begin to listen to what you’re saying to yourself. Are these things you would want anyone to hear? What’s your inner script? When you are aware enough to be able to write those phrases down, you’ll see what direction your unconscious mind is taking and why your body has been doing what it’s been doing.
Eric, 58, in a wheelchair, came to me for a healing session. At 19 he broke his neck in a car accident. He told me he knew he had set up this accident long before it happened. Unconsciously, he wanted to know what it felt like to be paralyzed. Whatever the unconscious believes to be true becomes your reality. Now Eric was ready to heal himself from feeling like a victim. He has been able to unplug from the burden of “victim thinking” thus freeing himself to be lighter. Now, he invited his Higher Self to begin the healing.
Martha had cancer when she came to see me years ago. At the time I was doing only hypnosis and past-life regression. At five years of age, Martha’s mother died suddenly. As a child unable to understand death, Martha decided that she was to blame for her mother’s death. Developing cancer was her way of punishing herself and ultimately joining her mother. In the regression, Martha’s mother revealed herself and the reason for her death, which had nothing to do with Martha. Finally getting the closure she needed, Martha’s body began to respond to the medication given to her to stop the cancer. Martha recovered from the cancer. Our unconscious desires are running our body. Getting in touch with the way they have been programmed will open our eyes to how we want to proceed. The unconscious also holds the key to reach the Higher Self, which ultimately knows how to heal our illness.
As a Huna Practitioner of ancient Hawaiian healing, I learned about the three Selves of Man and the role that the Higher Self (which is in all of us) plays to change our DNA and heal the physical body. Forthe ancient Hawaiians, the ultimate goal was to reach the Higher Self. Clearing the unconscious mind of the negative thought-forms from the past, you can then send your “desires” up the pipeline to the Higher Self for activation.
I experienced this myself 16 years ago, when my spine collapsed with nerve damage. My son Brian was living with me in Tiburon and carried me to bed when I could no longer walk. I was told by medical doctors that I wouldn’t walk again without surgery. Brian and another well-meaning friend urged me to go the “safer surgical route.” Not wanting to be cut, I decided to put the Huna recipe into action. Within four days of actively doing these processes, my back recovered completely ... even healing my scoliosis I had since birth. Shocked that I could walk again and feel normal, Brian was more fearful of his own “inner cleansing process” which he was not ready to comprehend. Personally, it felt like I had won the lottery, only better. I could heal myself together with my Higher Self. These Huna practices really worked! That brought me lots of friggin’ joy! I decided to devote my life to teaching others how they could do the same.
So how do you explain the unexplainable? How do you explain calculus to a 3-year-old? Reaching our Higher Self is what some of us aspire to in hopes of receiving Divine Truth, yet it can belong to the realm of the unfathomable, to our limited conscious mind. Healing my back was nothing short of a miracle to me. Yet, the recipe was available and I followed it, as I clearly believed in it.
And now, if you are ready, if you make the choice to believe, we have for you the cleansing and the ancient cleaning practices and techniques that can bring back to you – if you are willing – your friggin’ joy.
